Winners — Capital Challengers

KUWAIT CITY, April 30: In the opening Football and Handball tournament for the IDAK-KDD Sports Championship 2018-19, the Capital Challengers captained by Dr Jijan Sam Thomas and Dr Jolly Renjit asserted their total supremacy in both men’s and women’s events. In the thrilling final of Women’s Handball, between Capital Challengers and Hawally Hurricanes, the ladies literally fought tooth and nail to gain supremacy.

After the stipulated time, both teams were locked at 2-2 thanks to goals by Mrs Athira Mithun and Dr Anju Samuel for Capital Challengers and two stunning finishes by captain Dr Anjana Aneef of Hawally Hurricanes.
