Husband locks his wife in house

KUWAIT CITY, June 10: A case of beating and unlawful detention has been filed against a man for maltreating his wife, reports Al-Rai daily. The wife in her complaint to the Ahmadi police said her husband beat her and detained her in the house and prevented her from leaving the house which he had turned into a virtual prison for her.

She added, this happened due to constant disputes between them and finally the man locked her in the house but she managed to escape. The husband has been summoned for interrogation.
