Hunt launched for unidentified DAESH supporter

KUWAIT CITY, June 24: The State Security police are looking for unidentified persons who claimed they are companions of DAESH, reports Al-Anba daily. This came when a Kuwaiti living in Saad Al-Abdullah area complained that he received SMS on WhatsApp from phone No 0019419318537 and the sender claimed the companions of DAESH are on their way to take him to paradise.

Indian robbed: The Farwaniya police are looking for five unidentified persons, who barged into a restaurant, strangled an Indian worker, assaulting him and stole his money, reports Al-Anba daily. The Indian in his complaint to the police said the suspects robbed KD 130 from him and submitted a medical report to substantiate his claim. He said one of them threatened to kill him, another strangled him and the others stole his ID and money from the cash machine Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints.

Neighbor assaulted: A Kuwaiti whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station accusing his compatriot neighbor of assaulting him, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, when the assailant was summoned for interrogation, he told the police the man was repairing the door and because of the noise he could not sleep. The case has been referred for investigation for legal action.
