KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: The Criminal Investigations Department, headed by Major-General Khalid Al-Dayeen has called on all institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Interior to thoroughly inspects any vehicle registered in the United Arab Emirates, reports Al- Anba daily. According to a circular issued by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior the details of 18 cars have been circulated. If any one found driving any of these vehicles, orders have been given to seize the vehicle, and hand over the motorist to the nearest police station and report the incident to the Operations Room of the Criminal Investigations Department. It is not known whether the plates were stolen from vehicles in Kuwait or it is just a circular to all GCC countries in the framework of coordination and cooperation between the security services of these states.Pickup wagon stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified man who drove off with a 2015 model pickup wagon belonging to an Egyptian, reports Al-Anba daily. In his complaint the victim told the security men that he left the vehicle with the engine running and in less than a minute the car disappeared. He added, he had stepped out of the car to pay for meals which he had ordered via telephone. A violation has been cited against the complainant for leaving his vehicle in operation. In the meantime, police are looking for the suspect.
