The Martyr Sheikh Fahad Al-Ahmad Racecourse in Juwaihal area of Kabad will host the 12th Camel Race of Kuwait Camel Club under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad, who will be represented by the Hawally Governor Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf. So far, 150 camels have been registered to compete in the six-kilometer race.

Chairman of the club Hussein Al-Dawas expressed his delight over the increase in the number of camels participating in the competition, which highlights the success of this cultural sport. He thanked the owners of the camels and committees for their efforts aimed at the success of this competition.

Meanwhile, Secretary General and member of the organizing committee of GCC Rabih Feraj Al-Ajmi praised the success of the Fifth GCC Camel Racing Competition. He thanked the United Arab Emirates for the excellent way the competition was organized. Kuwait has started preparing to host the Sixth GCC Camel Racing Competition next year. (KUNA)
