KUWAIT, June 7 (KUNA)His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah held talks with his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha on Wednesday.
The talks focused on the outcomes of the visits of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and his efforts to solve the crisis between Qatar, on one hand, and Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain, on the other.
The Qatari leader spoke highly of the sincere efforts being made by the His Highness the Amir to normalize the relations between Qatar and the three countries and strengthen the unity among the sisterly GCC member states.
The meeting gathered, from the Kuwaiti side, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs and Acting Minister of Information Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, as well as other senior officials accompanying His Highness the Amir.The Qatari side was also represented by Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, as well as other senior officials and cabinet members.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his accompanying official delegation departed on Wednesday from Doha after a short visit.
His Highness the Amir was seen off by Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Qatari Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, Qatari senior officials, ministers, Kuwait Ambassador to Qatar Hafith Mohammad Al-Ajmi, and embassy staff.
