KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: Kuwait Shooting Club has announced that the inauguration of the His Highness the Amir 9th International Shooting Grand Prix, which was due to be held on Sunday, January 12, will be delayed by three days due to the passing away of Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed.

Head of the organizing committee Duaij Al-Otaibi, said this decision was taken to share the sorrow with the people of Oman on this sad occasion. Kuwaiti sharpshooters Talal Al-Rasheedi and Abdulrahman Al-Faihan, who have qualified for Tokyo Olympics 2020, will compete with sharpshooters from Italy, Kazakhstan, Emirates, Qatar and Lebanon for the top places.
