KUWAIT CITY, March 31: Police have arrested a Bangladeshi for possessing 22 sachets of heroin, reports Al-Rai daily.
A security source said the arrest came after a police patrol on routine duty in Farwaniya saw the man burying something on an open ground under the cover of darkness and kept a close watch on him.
When police approached him, he took to his heels, but he was pursued and seized. Police then seized 20 sachets of heroin from his pockets and 2 which he had buried in the ground. The suspect and the contraband have been referred to the General Department of Drugs Control.
