Hamadah Team blank National Guard 5-0

Pirlo-led Zain Stars face Kuwait 2022

KUWAIT CITY, May 30: The ongoing Late Abdullah Meshari Al- Roudhan Ramadan Futsal Tournament will witness a series of stiff competitions among the contending teams on Thursday. One of the matches will pitch Italian international Andrea Pirlo-led Zain Stars against Kuwait 2022 led by Jahra playmaker Faisal Zaid.

The organizing committee has decided that Pirlo will top the list of stars to be honored in the 39th edition of the tournament in consideration of his international status as member of the Mundial 2006 winners in the Italian National Team. The honoring event coincides with the 2018 Mundial to be held in Russia. Other Zain Stars players to play alongside Pirlo include Kuwaiti budding stars.

The opposing team led by Zaid will equally parade promising stars from various local clubs — many of whom are expected to become international stars during the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

The two group matches of the day will see winner of the game between Hisham Steel and Dar Al-Mohammadiyah qualifying for the second round of the tournament.

In the second game, Kazma Youth Team hopes to defeat Al- Hadd of Bahrain to remain in the competition if Credit Bank loses against Mani Group. Meanwhile, late Musa’ed Al- Mailam dismantled Al-Qairawan Glasses 3-0 in one of the day thirteen games.

The goals were scored by Adriano, Fifiand Mohammad Al-Mansour to raise the team’s points to six and qualifying for the second round alongside the BMW Team. Hamadah Team of Jordan beat the National Guard 5-0 to qualify for the next round.

The team now has five points through the goals scored by Ayman Yousef, Mohammad Mawali, Muayyed Mohammad and Hosam Samren, while National Guard maintained only one point. KIB will join Hamadah in the same group during the second round after the monumental 7-0 thrash of Zone Saint. The score sheet registered Diego Mancoso (2 goals), Manuel, Nasser Alban (2 goals), Karema, Ahmad Al-Faresi and Hamad Hayat.
