‘GTD eyes pulling licenses for 1 year of traffic law violators’

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19: General Traffic Department is considering imposing new sanctions on traffic violators, reports Al- Shahed daily.
Sources said the most prominent act is to withdraw for one year the license of any motorist who commits a breach; drives in a reckless manner or in the opposite direction of roads.
They added GTD is conducting a study to refer motorists who skip the red signal to court, and possibly impose punishments reaching imprisonment.
