BERLIN, Dec 29: Germany is planning to donate 75 million cornonavirus vaccines to poor countries in 2022. Donating this large number of vaccines will not affect supplies needed for citizens in Germany, German Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Svenja Schulze said in a statement on Wednesday. The donation will also include aid for poor countries to improve their infrastructure, aiming to facilitate vaccination campaigns. Germany is one of the top coronavirus vaccine-producing countries, through its company BioNTech, that cooperated with the US' Pfizer company to produce the first Covid-19 vaccine (KUNA)
