The mobile phones and other electronic appliances found in possession of the Bangladeshi gang

KUWAIT CITY, June 27: Ahmadi securitymen raided a parking lot in Riqqa area serving as storage for stolen items and drugs owned by some seven Bangladeshi expatriates. The operation followed a tipoff the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah received about illegal activities perpetrated by the suspects. A team of detectives was formed led by Security Director Brigadier Abdullah Safah to follow-up the case and bring the suspects to book.

Police arrested a gang of Bangladeshi for stealing cash, copper cables, mobile phones and other electronic appliances and hiding the stolen goods in a parking lot store in Al-Riqqa. Some quantity of the drug ‘Shabu’ was also found in their possession

In the meantime, the location was placed under surveillance until the report was verified. Guarded by search and arrest warrant, the officers raided the parking lot and arrested all seven suspects, and recovered stolen copper cables, silver ware, motorbike, electrical appliances, including mobile phones, KD 1,600 cash, and illicit drug Shabu. They were referred to the Public Prosecution with the items.
