Funds scam in cooperative society

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: The Ministry of Social Affairs is in the process of referring a cooperative society in Mubarak Al- Kabeer Governorate to the Public Prosecution due to grave financial and administrative violations, which could harm the shareholders’ funds and negatively affect the cooperative’s financial position, reports Al-Jarida daily quoting sources.

Sources said two board members of the cooperative committed major financial violations, prompting the ministry to refer them to the prosecution. Sources asserted the ministry does not tolerate irregularities or anomalies.
