From murder to ‘assault’ as man runs over, kills citizen

KUWAIT CITY, July 30: The Criminal Court sentenced an individual to 10 years in prison with hard labor for killing a citizen by hitting the latter with his vehicle in Salmi after a heated argument over the entry of the victim’s camel into the camping site of the defendant, reports Al-Seyassah daily quoting sources.

Sources disclosed that the court changed the charge from murder to physical assault that led to death. Case files indicate that the Ministry of Interior received a report about a citizen who died in a traffic accident on Al-Artal Road in Salmi.
