Four Indians among six caught selling liquor

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 31: Six expatriates, four of them Indians, have been arrested for bootlegging and consuming drugs, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the arrests were made in Bneid Al-Gar within 30 minutes of organizing a security campaign. The arrests were made upon instructions from the Director- General of the Capital Governorate Security Directorate to the Dasma Police Station head, Lieutenant Colonel Hamdan Al-Azmi.

The suspects caught with bottles of locally manufactured liquor.

The daily said the four Indians were arrested in two different incidents while on their way to dispose of bottles of booze to their clients and seized from them 10 mineral water bottles filled with the locally-manufactured booze. They have been referred to the Deportation Center and their names added to the list of persons barred from entering the country again.

During the same campaign police have also arrested two men of Arab origin for consuming drugs and has also seized from them two bottles of booze.
