Speaking to reporters, Al-Damkhi stressed that participation in the election is necessary in order to confront many deviations and not to leave matters in the hands of those involved in corruption. He said those who boycotted the previous elections want to amend the Constitution. “We support this idea and I call on everyone to participate in the elections to prevent collapse of the Parliament,” he asserted.

He claimed the previous legislature was very weak as evident in the intervention of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in reviewing the DNA Law. On the other hand, Fourth Constituency candidate and former MP Majed Mousah expects around 30 to 40 percent change in the next Parliament. Asked about the return of those who boycotted the previous elections, Mousah said he will comment on the issue later
