Food wastage in Kuwait reaches 400K tons

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 26: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has announced that the country’s food waste reached 400,000 tons annually, reports Al-Jarida daily. In a recent social media post entitled: “Food is available … but save”, the ministry revealed that the food waste per capita is 95 kilograms.
