Five Kuwaitis lost in sea rescued

Boats used by five citizens

KUWAIT CITY, June 19: Five Kuwaiti citizens were rescued after they were reported as lost in sea. When the Control Room of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) received information about the five missing citizens last seen near Shuaiba Port, firefighters from Shuaiba Marina Fire Station rushed to the location and immediately started the search process. They eventually found the citizens in their boat which had sustained some damages. The citizens were rescued and provided with necessary care. Also, some young Kuwaitis rescued an Egyptian man from drowning while the latter was swimming off a beach in Salmiya, reports Annahar daily. The daily added, a number of young Kuwaitis aboard a boat saw the man screaming for help and rushed to his help.
