KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: Fire broke out in a fl at in Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh area resulting in material damages but no casualties, reports Al-Anba daily.
When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the flat on fire, fire-fighters rushed to the location and extinguished the fire before it spread to other flats. Investigations have been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
Meanwhile, fire broke out in an under construction building in Salhiya, causing hand injury to a firefighter.
In a press statement, the Public Relations and Security Media Department in the Ministry of Interior revealed that fire-fighters rushed to the location after receiving information on the incident. Fire-fighters divided themselves into two groups one took charge of rescue operations while the other extinguished the fire.
They broke a small part of the building to reach the area where the fire started and then doused the fire before it spread to other areas. One of the fire-fighters sustained a hand injury so he was taken to the nearest hospital. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of fire.
