Finance, Kuwait Airways ink new deal

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 30: The suspension of work at IATA Pricing and its cancellation from the global system since early November 2018 pushed the government to change agreement on the pricing of tickets and official shipping policies signed with Kuwait Airways, and the Ministry of Finance and Kuwait Airways have signed a new agreement in that regard, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily, which obtained a copy of the new agreement, says it sheds light on some fundamental differences between the two agreements; most importantly, the cancellation of 50 percent subsidy provided to Kuwait Airways on the cost of government tickets for overseas treatment. The new agreement includes the service of medical bed to air tickets.
