KUWAIT CITY, Nov 7: A video clip of youths involved in a bloody fight in Sharq Market where they were seen using tables and chairs to attack each other went viral on various social networking sites. This has prompted the Capital security officers to rush to the location but the youths who were involved in the fight fled from the scene upon sensing police presence. The officers discovered the quarrel occurred near a restaurant outside the market.

Car mishap claims teen: A 14-yearold Kuwaiti died in a car accident when he used his mother’s car in Sulaibiya while his companion, also a teenager, sustained severe injuries. After the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a distress call about the incident, security and paramedics rushed to the location. However, the teenager was already dead and his corpse was taken to Forensics and the injured was admitted to a nearby hospital. It has been reported the victim took the car without the knowledge of his mother.

2 citizens nabbed: Ahmadi securitymen arrested a citizen in his 40s and a female compatriot in her 20s wanted by law for evading eight years imprisonment as they were found to be in possession of several packs of narcotics. While patrolling the area, the securitymen got suspicious when they noticed the erratic movement of a vehicle. When they approached the car, the officers observed that the two suspects were in an abnormal condition. They then searched the vehicle where they found several packs of narcotic substances, including hashish, heroin and others. The suspects were referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal measures. On the other hand, Hawally police arrested two citizens and an Arab for the possession of narcotics.
