The Filipino Badminton Committee in Kuwait (FBC) concluded its 85th Summer Smash 2017 Tournament on Friday at the Kuwait Disabled Sports Club in Hawally with veteran and amateur badminton players participating in the event.All players displayed their best form as they battled it out with the best players.  The veteran smashers from Levels A & B, the equally aggressive players from Level C and the new and upcoming badminton players of Level D as well as those in the Advance/International Doubles and Novice 1 Doubles showcased intensified performances aiming to bag the championship cup.Here are the winners in the 85th Summer Smash 2017 tournament:Level A/B Mix DoublesChampion: Michael Moral Nazrudheen Neyyan.1st Runner-Up: Noel Sarabillo Robert LuagueLevel  C/D  Mix DoublesChampion: Danilo Basco Jhonalyn Sarbues1st Runner-Up: Samuel Castillo Evangeline CalangWinners received certificate of recognition and cash prizes.Simultaneously, a birthday lunch treat by Jonah Tumanguil  and a farewell get-together for Jenny Ogalde was held.  A boodle fight was given by her “Baddicts” friends. The boodle fight is a Philippine Military Academy tradition where cadets would gather around a long table full of food and rice is spread over banana leaves and eaten with bare hands.
