FBC 72nd Eid Badminton tourney enters 2nd week

KUWAIT CITY, July 2: The Filipino Badminton Committee in Kuwait (FBC) 72nd Eid Badminton Tournament continues to heat up as it entered its second week on Friday at the Kuwait Disabled Sports Club in Hawally with veteran and amateur badminton players participating in the event.

Players smashed and swooshed their rackets as they reached their last elimination rounds on the road to finals.   In between games, a raffle draw of grocery items from an anonymous donor was held for the players.

On the same day, FBC also held its traditional birthday celebration for members whose birthdays fall on May namely Vladimir Mercado and Alma Ibno.

Meanwhile, FBC President Jimmy Carandang is inviting all badminton enthusiasts to register and join every Friday in their regular tournaments from 8 am to 1 pm and adults/kids badminton coaching/tutorial and court rental from 1 pm to 5 pm.  For inquiries please call FBC hotline 66420529 or visit the Kuwait Disabled Sports Club, Bin Khaldoun in Hawally on Friday
