Fake police officer arrested

KUWAIT CITY, May 11: Police have arrested a man in uniform for impersonating the head of the Jabriya Police Station, reports Al-Rai daily.

In order to live his illusion, the policeman went to the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital and began to organize traffic until he ordered hospital ambulances to be removed from their parking area insisting the area was not allocated for ambulances and boasted he is head of the Jabriya Police Station.

When an argument ensued and someone called the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry, a police patrol with the head of the Jabriya Police Station rushed to the spot to solve the situation and arrested the policeman who had taken upon himself the role of the officer. The impersonator has been referred to the authorities.
