KUWAIT CITY, April 7: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested a Kuwaiti for impersonating police and robbing people, reports Al-Rai daily. He was arrested when he stopped two people riding in a car and presented his ID carrying the Interior Ministry logo.

To his bad luck, the two persons turned out to be securitymen and were on official duty.

They suspected the ID of the man and demanded to see it again. The suspect not only refused but picked a fight with them. He was overpowered and taken to the Criminal Investigations Department. Police have seized from the man a pair of handcuffs and other tools used by police, in addition to the forged ID.
