Expat remittances up by 3.9%

KUWAIT CITY, May 6: The remittances of expatriate workers increased by 3.9 percent last year, reports Al-Rai daily. According to data from the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK), the remittances of foreign workers reached KD 4.3 billion last year compared to KD 4.1 billion in 2017. The biggest total amount of remittances was recorded in the second quarter (KD1.19 billion), while the lowest was recorded in the first quarter (KD1.03 billion).
