KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17: A Lebanese expatriate assaulted the driver of a school bus and damaged his eardrum for not bringing his children to the family apartment in Hawalli area. A security source said the victim— an Indian man, drives the bus of a private school. He is said to have brought the children to their apartment earlier and knocked on the door but there was no response, so he returned them to the school. The Lebanese became incensed and assaulted the driver for not leaving the children at the apartment, in the course of which he damaged the victim’s eardrum. A case was registered for investigation

33 arrested: Officers from Public Security Department arrested 33 people in Hawalli for various offenses. They were referred to relevant authorities. The suspects were involved in various civil and criminal cases. Some of them had expired residency and others were running away from their sponsors, as well as drug related offenses
