Ex-cop in drug peddling

KUWAIT CITY, March 20: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel have arrested two Kuwaitis — one a former policeman — for trafficking in heroin, reports Al-Anba daily. According to a security source, one Kuwaiti was caught red-handed while selling three sachets of heroin to an undercover police agent. Armed with a warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, the CID men then raided the home of the expoliceman and seized from him also sachets of heroin. Initially the ex-policeman denied knowledge of the drugs in his house, but later admitted to the charges slapped against him.
