EU-Kuwait trade during Jan-June mixed

Trade exchanges between the European Union and Kuwait in the first six months of 2015 show an up and down trend. Figures received by the Kuwait News Agency from the EU’s statistical office, Eurostat, Wednesday showed that EU imports from Kuwait in January amounted to 296.685 million euro and EU exports to Kuwait were valued at 360. 320 million euro.

In February, EU imports from Kuwait totalled 423.064 mn euro and exports to Kuwait stood at 425.432 mn euro. In March, EU imports from Kuwait amounted to 327.053 mn euro and EU exports to Kuwait jumped to 725.620 mn euro.

In April, EU imports from Kuwait totalled 441.471 mn euro and exports to Kuwait fell to 490.724 mn euro. In May, EU imports from Kuwait went down to 163.201 mn euro, while its exports to Kuwait increased slightly to 515.951 mn euro. In June, EU imports from Kuwait increased to 359.169 mn euro and exports were valued at 530.059 mn euro. (KUNA)
