Ethiopian gang of ‘flesh traders’ nabbed – Filipino aborting ‘love child’

KUWAIT CITY, July 21: An Ethiopian pimp and 31 compatriot women were arrested for involvement in flesh trade in Mahboula and Abu Halifa, reports Al-Rai daily. Acting on a tip-off, the Operations Unit in the Interior Ministry dispatched security teams who raided the apartments where they caught the abovementioned persons in the act. During interrogation, the Ethiopian women admitted to offering sexual services at low prices.

Aborting ‘love child’: Hawally securitymen arrested a Filipino for assisting his pregnant compatriot girlfriend in aborting her baby by giving her abortion pills, reports Al- Rai daily. According to security sources, securitymen rushed to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital after receiving information about the Filipina who suffered a miscarriage. They found her boyfriend there and he admitted to providing her with abortion pills to get rid of their love child. When asked about the source of the pills, the man said he obtained them from a compatriot. Securitymen are now guarding the woman’s room in the hospital.

Officers assaulted: Three private task force men filed a complaint against a Kuwaiti who allegedly beat them while they were on duty. In their complaint, the officers revealed that the Kuwaiti assaulted them when they issued a citation for the traffic violation he committed. They also quoted him as saying, “You and whoever is higher than you cannot impound my vehicle.”
