KUWAIT CITY, July 5: Emergency Team at Capital Branch of Kuwait Municipality (all three shifts) continued the weekly inspection campaigns to various shops and demolished encroachments on government property, reports Al-Rai daily. Team leader Zaid Al-Enezi said the campaigns coincided with the media campaign introduced by the administration under the slogan “Contact Us”.
The campaign led to the eviction of some bachelors from family residences and demolition of encroachments. He indicated inspectors in those shifts issued 56 citations against advertisement violations and removed 490 billboards from roadsides and open spaces.
They issued 12 building violations and 12 warnings and evicted bachelors from family residences in Surra. Also, the inspectors demolished 27 violating tents, make-shift structures and diwaniyas, and fixed 75 stickers in some places.
