3rd Consulting Services for Development Plan Forum opens

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 9: The Federation of Kuwait Engineering Offices and Consultants Houses announced that the opening ceremony of the 3rd Consulting Services for the Development Plan Forum (ENCON3) will kick off at 6:30 pm today at Al Baraka Hall at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The ceremony will be attended by His Excellency Mr. Abzulaziz Al- Mujel, Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, under the motto “Completing the plans of the Electronic Portal for Permits and addressing the Challenges of Building and Housing Plans.”

Badr Al-Salman: Lectures and seminars on ENCON3 themes
Eng. Bader Al-Salman, KFEOCH Chairman, said ENCON3 aims to study the optimum approaches to develop the unified electronic portal for the Permits system and study the challenges facing development and housing projects in Kuwait. ENCON3 also aims to determine the steps required for removing obstacles facing the planning and implementation of projects while applying effective governance processes. Finally, yet importantly, the forum will review the legislation, procedures, and regulations related to projects from the procedural and executive aspects to enhance the role of engineering offices and consulting houses in development plans. Al-Salman added, “The forum hosts several panel discussions and presentations where subject matter experts from the public and private sectors participatein developing a road map for achieving the event’s objectives.
