Emergency meeting set to tackle bachelors’ problem in Farwaniya

KUWAIT CITY, April 29: Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Faisal Al-Hamoud Al- Sabah has invited directors and senior officials from security sector, Kuwait Municipality and mayors of districts within the governorate for an emergency meeting slated for Tuesday to discuss negative phenomena and other problems citizens are facing, especially in relation to bachelors living in private residences among families, reports Al-Rai daily.

In this regard, Sheikh Faisal disclosed that the problem of bachelors has become a major issue disturbing the minds of citizens within the governorate. He stressed the issue has social and security effects, and concerted efforts of concerned officials and the society is needed to uproot the problem. He reiterated the governorate has long been exerting efforts to wipe out the bachelor phenomenon from all districts within the governorate, especially Rabiya Area.

He declared a series of meetings were held previously wherein all hands were on deck with total commitment and dedication to deal with petitions and observations from citizens. He reiterated minds of the officials were open to complaints from citizens
