Embassy of India: Amnesty for residency violation

KUWAIT CITY, April 16: This is in continuation to embassy’s advisory regarding the above subject.

This advisory is being issued in due coordination with concerned local authorities.

All Indian nationals desiring to benefit from the Amnesty are requested to approach following centers from 16-20 April, 2020 (between 8 am to 2 pm).

Males
i. Farwaniya Governorate – Farwaniya Primary School – Girls, Block 1, Street 76
ii. Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Naeem Bin Masoud School – Boys, Block 4, Street 250

Females
i. Farwaniya Governorate – Al- Muthanna Primary School – Boys, Block 1, Street 122
ii. Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Rufaida Al-Aslamia Primary School – Girls, Block 4, Street 200

Guidelines: Those who are in possession of valid Indian passports can approach above centers with personal belongings/ baggage(s) and be prepared to stay at designated shelters till further instructions.

Those who are NOT in possession of any valid documents like Passport, Civil ID, Emergency Certifi cate etc (both male & females) may approach Farwaniya Primary School – Girls, Block 1, Street 76 for Biometric Identifi cation (fi ngerprint). Such people are NOT required to carry any personal belongings as they will NOT be shifted to shelters at this stage.

Those who have already applied for ECs through volunteers are NOT required to either visit above centers or the embassy for getting travel documents. On completion of processing of ECs, applicants would be contacted and guided accordingly.
