Electronic services for domestic labor disputes launched

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 9: The Public Authority for Manpower announced the launch of new electronic services to look into domestic labor disputes through the “electronic forms portal” on its website, reports Al-Rai daily. The authority said in a press statement that its services consist of enabling one of the following relevant parties (the employer or the domestic worker) to register a complaint against the other party to ensure the preservation of the rights of all.

The authority indicated the service is done by entering the electronic forms portal and filling out the required data, attaching the documents related to the service, and acknowledging the validity of the data provided, provided that the final step concerns with visiting the Regulating Domestic Labor Recruitment Department to take the application and have it approved by the competent employee.
