El-Amin visits Al-Ahli Club in Kuwait

Former Egyptian superstar and Director of Al-Ahli Club academies Khaled El-Amin (a.k.a. Khaled Bebo) expressed his appreciation and gladness over the return of Kuwaiti sports into the international arena, especially the national team and the Kuwaiti clubs; indicating that their performance after the lifting of the ban was unexpected.
He made the statement during the visit of Al-Ahli Club’s delegation to Al-Ahli Club Academy branch in Kuwait, where Bebo was accompanied by Technical Manager of the academies Abdul-Nabi Ashour and Marketing Manager in Kuwait Ameer Tawfeeq.
The delegation was received at the airport with pompous ceremony organized by fans and supporters of Al-Ahli Club. From there, they visited the club’s Kuwait branch, where they organized training workshop for coaches and assessed the existing training plans, in addition to following up the performance of talented young players.
Bebo indicated that there will be more and expansive visits to the branch in the near future. He said this season’s summer camp will be completely different, given that preparations started early and marketing is in the process.
The academy serves youths – 4 to 17 years old. Its objectives include developing skills, providing an avenue for youngsters to gain experience, and teaching them football skills. The academy has branches in Salmiya, Farwaniya, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Mangaf and Jabriya.
