KUWAIT CITY, Oct 5: A 34-year-old Egyptian woman has filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station accusing an unidentified person of withdrawing money from her bank account, reports Al-Anba daily.

The woman said someone called her and said he was a presenter of sports news in a notable Arabic TV channel and congratulated her for winning KD 2,000 prize.

The woman said the suspect then asked her for her credit card number and the pin code and she ended losing KD 150.

Meanwhile, police have arrested a Saudi citizen for helping his brother leave for Saudi Arabia illegally using his passport, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The Saudi was arrested on suspicion at a police checkpoint because he looked nervous. Police then checked his name on computer and records showed he has left the country. During interrogation he admitted to giving his passport to his brother to leave the country because he is wanted by law and carries a travel ban.
