Angham Angham

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 5: Former mother-in-law of the Egyptian singer Angham affirmed her intention to prevent the singer from performing in the concert to be held in the country on Feb 12 along with the Saudi singer Mohammad Abdo if Angham fails to bring her grandson Abdulrahman with her, reports Al-Rai daily.

Umm Fahad said, “If Angham manages to leave the airport without being arrested, I will sue the investigation officer for not carrying out the arrest warrant issued against Angham. I will also stalk her in Crowne Plaza Hotel where she will be staying.”

She denied accusations circulating about her making an issue of this matter in order to become famous, stressing, “I am an old woman. I resorted to the media in order to ensure my legal rights are met, not for fame.”

Regarding the fact that her son, the music director Fahad, has been hiding from the media, she explained, “He does not like to appear before the media. He is awaiting the final verdict regarding his son.” She added that Fahad is currently in Egypt and will remain there until the verdict is issued and peaceful solutions for the cases with his former wife are reached.
