KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30: A Kuwaiti citizen sustained injuries on his face especially his eyes during a quarrel that broke out between three citizens in Oyoun area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the quarrel, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location to discover some passersby managed to settle the quarrel and one of the brawlers were taken in a private vehicle to Jahra Hospital for the treatment of the injuries he sustained during the quarrel.Securitymen went to the hospital and interrogated the injured citizens to be told that the quarrel was with two other citizens over a former dispute. Investigations have been launched to find and arrest the suspects.Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen filed a case at Ardiya Police Station against an unknown individual who abused him and threw his shoes at him. Investigations were launched. In another development, supporters of the Egyptian National Football Team in Kuwait were prevented from blocking roads in Hawalli governorate after the team’s overwhelming victory over Morocco in the African Nations Cup quarter-final match played on Sunday.Two Egyptians were arrested by security operatives for jubilating on the road. Hawalli Security Chief  deployed a team of officers to prevent a gathering of members of the Egyptian community at the commercial complexes and coffee shops in the governorate. He noted a crowd of jubilant Egyptian football supporters seen in the video circulating on social media was made just after the match, indicating no gatherings were allowed on roads, as per orders from the Director of Hawalli Security Directorate.By Meshal Al-Sanousi Al-Seyassah Staff
