KUWAIT CITY, July 17: The Court of Appeals on Tuesday upheld the verdict of the lower court and sentenced an Egyptian working in the National Assembly to five years with had labor for hacking the information network of the National Assembly during the second session of the Parliament, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Public Prosecution had charged the accused, currently serving time at the Central Prison, with illegal entry into the information network of the National Assembly and feeding 7,000 viruses in 120 seconds during the Parliament session but his attempts failed because of timely discovery and arrest by the Information Technology Department of the Assembly.
