Egyptian expat mugged in Al-Hassawi

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 5 : An Egyptian filed a report at Jleeb Al- Shouyoukh Police Station where he informed police that he was mugged and assaulted by three unidentified individuals who fled from the scene after the incident, says Al-Seyassah.

According to the source from the station, the Egyptian told the police that while he was walking on a street in Al-Hassawi, he suddenly saw three unknown people who stopped him, and then they assaulted him and grabbed his wallet which contained KD 120 and his identification documents.

The victim provided the officers with detailed description of the culprits and investigation is underway to determine their identity to pave way for their arrest.

Thief nabbed: A Syrian expatriate was chased on foot and arrested by security operatives when he was caught stealing from a company in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, says Al-Seyassah. The officers on a round of Farwaniya governorate caught the suspect red-handed while trying to break into the company. He took to his heels upon sighting the officers but they chased him on foot and arrested him. He was referred to concerned authorities for necessary action.
