Egyptian drug peddler held; GCC national robber arrested

KUWAIT CITY, March 11:  The Hawally police have arrested an unidentified Egyptian for trafficking in drugs and narcotic pills, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily quoting security sources said the suspect was arrested on suspicion and when police checked his car, they found a quantity of Tramadol pills and a finger of hashish. The contraband and the trafficker have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.

Robber arrested: A GCC national who is wanted by law for his involvement in three theft cases was arrested in Jahra Governorate, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, Jahra securitymen were on routine patrol duty when they noticed a pickup vehicle and ordered the driver to pull over. They checked his details and discovered that he is a GCC national who is involved in three theft cases. When securitymen demanded him to sit inside the patrol vehicle, he took to his heels but securitymen chased him and eventually managed to catch him.
