Egyptian couple involved in human trafficking

KUWAIT CITY, April 21: General Department for Immigration has filed a “human trafficking” case against a law firm which is managed by an Egyptian woman and her husband, reports Al- Seyassah daily.

According to informed security sources, a block has been placed on the file of the law firm, an order has been issued for the arrest of the Egyptian couple, and a travel ban has been imposed on them.

Investigations revealed that 20 visas were issued for marginal workers under the sponsorship of the law firm through forgery. A case of forgery had been filed against the Egyptian woman, but she had resumed her activities with the help of her husband.

Necessary steps were taken to summon the concerned Kuwaiti employee for investigations and determine the number of forged visas issued.
