Egyptian brothers sentenced to death in compatriot killing

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 21: The Criminal Court presided over by Justice Waleed Al-Kandari has sentenced two Egyptian brothers to death for murdering their compatriot in Jaber Al-Ahmad area in a plain act of vengeance.

The accused are said to have used a butcher’s knife to smack the head of the deceased after stabbing him and left to die.

The victim was later found by his relative who notified the police about the incident, and investigation led to the two brothers. At a court session, the accused admitted killing the victim to retaliate a family feud.
