Egyptian authorities arrest Kuwait visa scammer

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17: The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Cairo reported that the Egyptian authorities have arrested a person on charges of fraud and appropriating sums of money from Egyptian citizens in front of the embassy building, under the pretext of helping them expedite the completion of the procedures for ratifying work permits, and that the accused is being investigated by the Egyptian authorities, reports Al-Rai daily.
In a press statement today, the embassy called on those concerned to exercise caution and report such cases to the competent authorities. The embassy confirmed that it does not deal with any external party to receive requests for authentication of official documents.
