KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3: The owner of a travel agency has lodged a complaint at the Fahaheel Police Station against an Egyptian accountant, accusing him of betraying the trust, reports Al-Anba daily. The complainant said the accountant, who was also the treasurer of the travel agency, left for Egypt after stealing KD 50,000 from the company.

Seize trucks: Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah recently ordered the impounding of food and refreshment trucks in Hawally area after discovering that they caused severe traffic congestion, reports Al- Qabas daily. According to security sources, the minister was touring Hawally area before the Friday prayers to check on the security and traffic situation when he encountered heavy traffic congestion on a road. He discovered that some trucks selling refreshments and food were parked the wrong way, which caused the traffic congestion in Hawally. He ordered to seize the trucks and withdraw their registration documents as well as the driving licenses of the motorists.
