Egyptian accountant escapes with KD 6,000

KUWAIT CITY, May 3 A Kuwaiti businessman has filed a complaint with the Salhiya Police Station accusing an Egyptian accountant of betrayal of trust, reports Al-Rai daily. The Kuwaiti said he gave the Egyptian KD 6,000 to deposit in the bank but the latter escaped with the money. Police are looking for the accountant

Duo held for drugs: Police have arrested two Kuwaitis for possessing hashish and consuming drugs and carrying a knife, reports Al- Rai daily. The men were arrested on Shuwaikh beach during routine patrolling along the Gulf Street.
