KUWAIT CITY, May 28: The Circuit 31 of the Criminal Court in Egypt has fixed the session of July 22 for the hearing of a case filed against six individuals including two women who are accused of robbing and killing a Kuwaiti citizen Khalid Al-Resh in March last year in Agouza suburb of Giza district, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

A legal tussle was witnessed during the last court session when representatives of heirs to the deceased requested for amendment of charges from “murder as a result of robbery” to “premeditated murder with robbery”. This was in consideration of the fact that the act took place at night with the use of arms.

However, the defense counsel objected to the amendment request. The team of lawyers representing the deceased’s heirs comprise of Dr Ahmad Fathi Sorour and Dr Magid Al-Shrbaini from Egypt, and Fayez Sanhat Al-Mutairi from Kuwait.
