Duo freed in real estate fraud

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 2: Knowledgeable sources disclosed that the sentences renewal judge ordered the release of two businessmen on KD 30,000 bail each, including a former deputy, in the case of real estate fraud. However, the defendants are barred from traveling, reports Al-Qabas daily. The source said the prosecution has completed the investigation into the case and will soon refer the issue to the criminal court. The prosecutor’s office in mid-December decided to detain the defendants for 21 days in the central prison.
