KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: The Interior Ministry has a new list of names of persons holding dual citizenship and people who belong to the terrorist organizations, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily added, the lists will be submitted to the Council of Ministers with a request to approve the withdrawal of their nationalities. According to reliable sources the list contains the names of 29 people complete with evidence to prove the charges against them.
The sources pointed out the ministry sees it necessary to withdraw the nationality of any person who is a threat to the national security or any person who holds the nationality of another country and has not disclosed it.
The same sources said the ministry in due time will prepare more such lists. The sources added the Interior Ministry is closely following the interrogations of person who are in police custody and accused of belonging to the DAESH organization and those who were involved in the so-called Abdali cell.
The State Security police have arrested a Kuwaiti for luring young men to join the terrorist organization DAESH via the Internet, reports Al- Shahed daily. The daily added, the suspect is also charged with urging young men to work against their respective ruling systems in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. According to security sources, the website was spotted by the State Security some months ago and the arrest came after the concerned authority located the site inside the home of the suspect in Rabiya.
